La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Orleans Airport

The hotel was awful. They lied about having a free airport shuttle, and worse still, had the fire alarm go off 10 times (literally, no joke) in one night. And they didn't offer any compensation to us in apology. It was a joke. They are a joke.

I stayed at this hotel because I arrived very late at the New Orleans airport and decided to stay there for just one night, so that I could arrive at my destination and the conference I was attending during the day. I paid the rate and they asked me to pay for a security deposit, saying that the amount would be refunded shortly after. I made all the payments but the amount was never refunded. When I contacted the hotel, they said that the card was blocked for this type of procedure and that they could not refund the amount. What surprises me is that my bank says that there are no restrictions on my card and that the hotel I stayed at later refunded the deposit amount normally. I don´t feel confortable with this situation. I´ve sent them some emails and there is no answer or any solution for this.

Decent hotel for the night before flying out of MSY!

You have to pay for parking there which we didn’t know until we arrived. The pool was shut being cleaned for 4 days. The room was never cleaned any of the days we stayed there. The breakfast is ok

Didn't like the parking

There is not parking, you have to pay over for parking check this before toe spend your money

It wasn't anything special. It was clean-ish (we found a lizard in our room). The AC was loud and the bathroom was okay. There were places to eat close by and the airport was only 3 miles away...

Staff was welcoming and polite after a day of chaos at the airport. We only needed the room for a few hours. The room looked clean but had a little smell of urine. The hotel was around gas stations and places walkable to eat. It was a good place for a short stay close to the airport.

I would not use the shower it was dirty the ceiling tiles were not in correctly it was push in like you hiding something in the ceiling and only one elevator working and rhe hallway smells moldy and got hit for a 12.00 chg for parking and nothing listed about it and at 230 am theree was no one at the desk. If I know about the parking i would have found a another place that is cleaner working

I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property. It was very dirty and nasty had to use the stairs a lot. One elevator was down. A lot of hidden fees. Charging for parking was not worth it and certain debit cards is not accepted there terrible cleaning crew they do not clean the rooms everyday or even every other day and homeless people sleeping in the stairways at night makes staying there not safe
