Had an amazing stay at the Hampton inn long island Brookhaven. When booking, I requested a second floor room near at the end of the hall & near a staircase. Accomplished. Room was VERY comfortable. Had ALL the amenities. Pet friendly with a reasonable add on fee. Front desk was very pleasant & accommodating. Compliment Lemonade available near front desk as we're dog snacks. Buffet breakfast was outstanding. Fresh eggs & bacon. Would absolutely stay here again. Only annoyance was that the hotel charges $15/day for parking. Complained about this & was told it's charged by the hospitality dept which runs the hotel. So no free parking on the premises. As I was there for 7 days, that's a decent extra charge.

Rust out of the sink faucet implied my room was not used often. Then found they charged me for parking but the notice was buried in the terms and conditions disclaimer. Water is bad but they gladly hand out bottled water. Breakfast is standard but Holiday Inn is better.

We had a great stay, they had hot breakfast which is always a plus for my husband, eggs, waffles, sausages, toast, muffins, cereal, yogurt , bagles etc alot to choose from, everyone was friendly, alot of self parking and an indoor heated pool, this was our 2nd time here and would definitely visit again.

My stay was comfortable. Room was quiet. Smooth check in process. Front desk staff was polite. Double-bed room needs new mattress. However, I was charged $12.00 plus tax per night for parking. I think this is gross and ridiculous. I have to use my car to transport myself to the hotel and they charge me for parking. This is insane. What’s next? Supermarket charge for parking ?

The condition of the hotel was gone along with the other amenities. However, I was disappointed in the payment for parking. This was not mentioned in any description of the hotel.. just said parking was available. To me that meant just what it said . Very disappointed in $12/day parking.

The place is conveniently located right off of the Long Island Expressway. The entrance may be tricky for some, but I found it no problem. It was very nice both inside and out, and the room was nice as well. Staff was very helpful in regard to providing information regarding dining options. Good size room, very comfortable beds, was very satisfied. Overall, a pleasant experience. If I was to nitpick, would have preferred a “back entrance” from the parking area. My ONLY complaint - and the only thing that gives this place a 9/10 instead of a 10/10 - was the alarm clock automatically going off at 6:30 AM. Management may want to reconsider that approach. Other than that, a good stay.

From my check in to my check out the front desk was very kind especially Kevin, very helpful. Very impressed by services offered. Just one thing i didn't know was charging for parking. Thats seems a bit much. As customers it shouldn't be extra especially when lot is full n have to park from from hotel at night.
