Was extremely difficult to reach the front desk to set up free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Had contact Hotels.com and eventually they got through. Front desk staff was very helpful and allowed me to stay into my room one hour later for no additional charge while waiting for transportation. Glad to see they now offer yogurt as a breakfast option so finally there is protein!! The first floor hallway was extremely hot because they kept the door to the laundry room open. Was very uncomfortable. They should close that door when running the dryer. Walkable location to a couple restaurants & Target. Great news sidewalks r finally being constructed in the surrounding area!!

We had one night on our roadtrip in Pennsylvania. It was ok for one night with free wifi, parking and breakfast. Service was good and room was deasant for the price.
It is located in a safe area close to airport and university.
We had no complaint.

My new place to stay in Pittsburgh. Clean, comfortable, quiet and close to everything. The Microtel is near shopping and restaurants, a short drive from I-376 and the airport (with shuttle), and even on a PRT bus route.

Because I arrived 1 hour before check, they ma an additional $20. The parking lot was empty and the room was ready. The breakfast was a joke, not much to pick from.

Called before booking and inquired whether they still had the shuttle service to the airport and was told yes. Was not told it was 20 per passenger or if you were leaving your vehicle at the hotel it was 65. It was free a year and a half ago. Won't go back

The only thing I was unhappy with was that when I stayed there in Oct the shuttle was $5 a person and this time they charged me $10. That's quite excessive, I think. Next time I'll opt for more room and a free shuttle.

We only stayed one night. I can see why it's called Microtel, the room was pretty small. I booked this location because it said free parking, only to be told that was not the case since we did it through a 3rd party site and not directly to their site. I guess live and learn
