Best Western Plus Pepper Tree Inn

Great check in, friendly staff. The parking spots are a big tight for my big car but there was plenty of parking spaces at this busy time. I will definitely be visiting this place again, i loved our room and how clean it was. Amazing!

Had a few days to do business in Santa Barbara. 2nd time staying here nice hotel. Nice clean rooms not to big or to small if your traveling with a family member or not. Close to restaurants and shops. Everything you need and a short little drive to downtown area. Also close enough to UCSB which is a plus if you have a child attending school and are not from the area. Would and will stay here again when need be.

Our room was really nice, loved having a sliding glass door. Bed, shower etc were all great. Easy parking. Only thing is they’re under construction so pool by us was closed, so we drove over to the open pool and it was super nice and warm and we loved it. The person who checked us in was very friendly and made us feel welcomed and let us check in a little early. Gave us a list of good breakfast spots nearby. It’s in a safe area and Target is located across the street so if you need something it’s super easy to run and come back. Would definitely stay here again

It was a good place to travel and it was quiet.

Centrally located. Plenty of parking, well lit. Rooms have pool view and a patio or balcony area with a small table and chairs. The breakfast was a bit on the light side, but enough to tide us over until we went out and about. Would stay here again.

Disabled and was put on the third floor with a non-operable elevator and it’s raining. The garage for parking below is very tight and also inconvenient to try and get luggage to rooms. Staff was nice but could not accommodate us. Restaurant is great.

1. Front door stuck often and was very difficult to open. Staff aware of this but did not fix. 2. Some lighting in rooms not functioning. 3. TV not functioning. 4. Air conditioner very loud. 5. “Breakfast” (as advertised) is not breakfast. Granola bars, bruised bananas, weak / tasteless coffee, non functioning espresso machine, and individual serving cereal packets does not qualify as breakfast. 6. The intense odor of chemical cleaners in the room made the stay all the more unpleasant. 7. There are dozens of tripping and safety hazards throughout the site. 8. There are dozens of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) violations (parking, pedestrian routes, reception area, common restroom, etc. as a person with disabilities, this site was difficult for me and others and dangerous. 9. The acoustic rating of the walls and floor/ceiling does not comply with applicable California building standards. Sounds travel from adjoining rooms in a manner that is quite intrusive and makes for an unpleasant experience. 10. My overall experience with Expedia in booking my itinerary has been exceptionally unpleasant and Expedia’s policies are predatory and unconscionably unfair. I will never book with Expedia in the future. I will be sharing my opinion of Expedia and my experience on social media and with my peers across several professional platforms. 11. I will be filing complaints with various consumer protection agencies.
