Nice place. Didn’t appreciate parking charge.

The Leta is a nicely refurbished motel in the style of the 70’s. Once you’re leaning into the motel experience, it’s a good place to stay. Large parking lot available (although I was surprised to see that a parking fee was added)

Really liked the funky midcentury modern decor of this hotel and while the rooms weren't luxurious, they were well-designed and reasonably spacious. A few notes (not dings, just to inform other travelers' thinking): the property definitely has a party vibe, there were people clustered around the open bar and firepits and pool area and it could get noisy. The air conditioning unit was also pretty noisy although powerful, which I appreciated, and the bed was comfortable (with good pillows) although I wish there had been a fitted sheet. Finally, the staff was friendly - there was some confusion about our included breakfast, which was part of the Expedia package I had paid for, but we got it sorted out.

It’s a lovely property and great amenities. Wish we had more time for the pool and fire pits! Great location if you’re looking to stay close to Santa Barbara. Make sure to go walk the butterfly preserve just 8 min drive away, even if it’s not the monarch season it’s a beautiful spot. Only downside was no elevator and staying on the 2nd floor, but the staff was very helpful with our luggage.

The staff complained that they had not had a break and service for breakfast was great but the rest of the day went downhill. Paint was peeling off in the bathroom, we were missing a chair in the room so the table had one instead of two so only one person could eat at the table when there were 2 of us. The old Kimpton was better with HH wine and complimentary shoshito peppers.The parking fee is ridiculous.

Liked proximity to airport and nearby lunch/dining options. Very convenient.

Great location, just minutes from the airport.

It was ok, not bad but not great. Why is coffee no longer available in lobby after 6:30 in the morning. We checked in on a Monday and Wednesday the coffee wasn't out after 6:30. Why bother? Our room was an accessible room. Bathroom was nice a large. I saw the rooms on either side of ours, and there were a table and chair in those. But ours didn't. We couldn't sit down and eat anywhere but the bed. I called the hotel to book room after looking on hotels.com, i thought i was booking a patio view room vs a pool view. I got a parking. Monday night it was so so noisy with cars pulling in and people unloading. One cars alarm went off at 10:30 that night. The mane reason I picked this hotel was its dog friendly and doesn't charge extra for them. We were in Santa Barbara for my dog's surgery.

I feel unhappy. I didn’t know that there is a parking fee in the hotel’s parking lot. The front desk didn’t tell me about the fee when I checked in.
