Borinquen Beach Inn

I stayed at this hotel for 14 days. The room was spacious and comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well. There is a kitchen that everybody can use and it was spotless and everyone respected the property of others. The parking in the back was a plus as well as the exterior shower. You can walk to the beach. The place is safe with security 24 hours. The only negative point was at the beginning of my stay when I requested hangers for my clothes and was told by one of the front desk attendants that the guests brought their own, but the management solved this ASAP and received some. This is not a luxurious inn, but it is conveniently located, it is clean, comfortable, affordable, the workers are friendly and helpful and the beach is just behind the Tartak Street.

This is my fourth time staying at this property each time for one night. It is reasonably priced for practicably being beach front and surrounded by so many dining options and some night life, not to mention Isla Verde beach is beautiful. The beach is behind the property and its an easy 1 minute walk. The airport is 5 to 8 minutes depending on traffic. It’s clean and as a single female traveler I have always felt safe there. The staff has always been welcoming and helpful.

I was not able to make it to Puerto Rico due to weather here in Chicago. I’m ah American Airlines employees so I fly standby. I try to call them and no answer. All I wanted was a refund or for them to schedule me for another date. Said no. I been staying here at Borinquen beach inn for over 10 years. That’s the way to treat a return customer.. terrible.

If you looking for a place near to the beach walking. with parking that is the place not is luxury but is cheap and clean

Online pictures should start showing the outside of the hotel and the interiors current condition. The checkin desk is located in a gated room (red flag number 1). People are living in this hotel. There were dirty sneakers lined outside the room in the hallway. At check in They make a photocopy of your id and credit card (flag number 2). After checkin I enter the room and noticed a fly laying on the pillow,stained bedding. I pulled back the blanket and it looks like a child drew with a pin all over the sheets. Outdated room, outdated furniture. Literally if every 3-5 star hotel wasn’t sold out I would have preferred to sleep in a car for 5 hours than stay here. I slept in my clothes and used an airplane pillow that’s how uncomfortable I felt staying here. Just know I found a $600/ a night room the very next day that I was grateful for. Traveling to unknown places you just never really know until you get there.

The location was fantastic. Check in was easy and free parking next door. As we only staying for one night and earlier flight, we chose this for accommodation because it was fair price with descent comments. However, it was really noisy on the Saturday we stayed. Police sirens, party people and another travelers coming and leaving. The walls is thin and don’t keep sounds from the hallway at wall. So we had a restless night.

Easy place to stay for one night after arriving late into airport. Very safe behind gate, with a 24-hour attendant to let you in. Walgreens across the street for anything you need, plus fast-food and local restaurants. Right next to the public access for the beach. Bare furnishings, but adequate for a night.

Don't like: some noise into property. It's like people pulling doors. Like: its convenient, all is near, is clean, safe parking, beach accessible and reasonable price. I use for sleep because have a long travel in car, so this is middle of m6 way.

My wife and I were 8 days with 14 family members. We missed our flight and found this hotel. For the price fantastic. For nearness’s to airport, it could not be better. The young lady who was the night clerk was the most attentive individual. She is a vet student with absolutely perfect English, I would hire for my business in an instant. She put la crem on our stay
