San Juan Water and Beach Club

Overall good stay. Great location for the beach, restaurants and stores. Staff was friendly, beach service was great, KUMO their rooftop restaurant was beautiful and food was excellent. The room was modern and looked exactly as pictured. They also happily accommodated an extra night when my flight was cxled. Cons: didn’t have hot water 4 out of the 5 days and had to call front desk daily to be fixed. The hotel is under construction so no sleeping in as there was hammering/drilling starting at 9am. Housekeeping wasn’t the best and I was charged incorrectly for the mini bar which still hasn’t been resolved.

It's a nice hotel with great staff on a beautiful beach. My main negative is that when I booked my reservation on Hotels.com it said no charge for parking and that's why I booked it as other hotels charge for it. Well I was charged.

I came for a quick getaway to relax and this place was just that. The room decor was relaxing as well as the whole hotel. It was small and quiet. Right on the beach and so close to airport. Was an amazing experience! Highly recommend if alone or couple. Not for kids.

The staff are great especially Yiyi she is so professional, knows her job, her service was beyond amazing, front desk really professional and the valet parking staff great , everything in general met our expectations definitely we will return to this hotel

Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready so we had to wait a little over an hour. Room was clean however bring your own iron or else you’re out of luck, the hotel is not accommodating at all, they couldn’t even provide us w a plastic spoon. The pool area fits only 6 chairs, the pool super small and dirty, the restaurant is awesome, food was delicious. When you leave confirm your transportation or else the valley staff will trick you to get into a taxi and you’ll have to pay cash at the airport. It is almost like a scheme…I saw the taxi diver paying the valley guy but I didn’t anything of it, after we got to the airport I realized we got tricked to go with taxi instead of the transportation company we hired when we booked the trip. Please ask question make sure you see your name when you get picked up from the hotel. I called the hotel to make them aware of the scheme they hang up on me. Avoid the 10th floor bc the restaurant is above the 10th floor you will hear every noise. The hotel also has this really bad odor of poop. I would a different hotel next time however the location is great and it is 2 steps to the beach.

If you are looking for a fantastic hotel with, great design, breathtaking views, a rooftop with the yummiest menu, the best bartender, and well-made drinks this is the place. The open-space bedroom is stunning, of course, if you are traveling with your partner is so much better, because the shower’s walls are all glass letting the sun go through the bedroom. The beach is just in front of the hotel and they also have chair and umbrella service, and restaurant service.

1. Housekeeping not up to par. 2. No cream/ milk provided for coffee. 3. No Do not Disturb tag provided and none brought upon request. 4. No instructions for safe. 5. No information regarding WIFI. 6. Restaurant opened very late each day. 7. Food (only breakfast) was not good. 8. Hotel under construction (noisy and windows filthy) and we were not told beforehand. 9. Noise from above and from elevator was frustrating. 10. Paid to upgrade room and absolutely shocked to discover it was not an upgrade. We have traveled extensively and are not complainers!

This was honestly THE WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE of my life. I’m in my mid 30s have traveled across Europe and etc and I must say I’ve stayed in $25 hostels better than this property. They had a dumpster by the entrance to the lobby that smelled horrible. Outside of the property there was construction, dirty green sewage that had a foul smell. The elevators weren’t working I had to walk up 8 floors! The rooftop pool that everyone said was nice was super filthy!! The water didn’t look clean and the area outside the pool was dirty and not attended to it. The paint was chipping the chairs were old and dirty as well. Farrrr from aesthetically pleasing. I’ve seen project pools that look better. The rooms were nice I’ll say that but they weren’t the cleanest either dust all over the room! And what made it even worse you could hear the loud construction from the room. You heard men yelling and power tools at all hours of the night. The staff was rude, non responsive & not helpful at all. It’s like they took a class in how to be a horrible customer service rep and they all passed w/ straight A’s! We had originally booked for 4nights but left after one. I could barely sleep due to the noise and you could smell the dumpster in the stairwells. No ice machines, they said room service is optional if the kitchen feels like bringing it. And the worst part of it all. WE CANT GET OUR MONEY BACK!! Asked for a partial refund due to these issues & they said should’ve read the reviews before booking

Staff was great, they went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Didn't like the fact that they were in the middle of construction and limited parking without paying for valet.

Gorgeous rooms, clean space. Would prefer other options besides valet parking only
