Quality Inn & Suites East Syracuse - Carrier Circle

This room was so grungy we checked out after arriving and didn’t stay. Also didn’t feel safe as there were sketchy people in the parking lot and the outside door didn’t latch so anyone could enter the hotel. The only place that appeared clean was the lobby.

The Good: Affordable, clean(ish) The Not so great: Hotel is currently under renovations. As a result, there is no restaurant on site available, no pool access and no other amenities. You won’t find this out until after you book though. There is also no food options near by. The bad: As you’ll see from the pictures, the ice bucket is plastic and not clean. The radiator has a fresh coat of paint but is rusting over. It appeared that they didn’t replace the out of date model but rather just added paint. It also was stuck on the coldest setting and you’re not able to change it. There was a used towel behind the bed and stains on the pillows. There is no safe available at all! If you’re traveling from abroad , you’re going to want to carry your passport.

Connected to Studio apts. Loud music, party in parking lot. People talking loudly in hall. College dorm atmosphere. Room door was warped and did not keep sound out.

I had to wait 15 mins for the host. We walked around the hotel to try and find a staff member. Once we had a room the host followed my daughter to the elevator while i parked the car at the end of the building...bc thats where inwas told to park. There were people hanging out in the parking lot drinking and being loud. I did not feel safe at this hotel. The remote didnt work. Once i got the tv on manually, it had a crack down the screen. The alarm clock didnt work its wires were pulled out. My phone was for a different room. We left as soon as we could in the morning and ate on the road. The purpose of this syay was to sleep in the middle of a 14 hour drive so we did accomplish that. The beds were comfortably and the room was clean but after the check in process if felt lik we were being watched.

This hotel was under construction. There were dumpsters on the property, and some broken glass in parking lot. Lobby was unmarked. Pool was empty and the pool room was storing mattresses. Our room had a comfortable bed, towels were nice, room could have been cleaner and is in need of a refresh. Easy to get to from Highway. Breakfast was very basic.

This property was overbooked because of a convention. It had recently been shifted over from a Ramada, and after dealing with the front desk, we were transferred to a corresponding other hotel. The gentleman was doing his best with what the information he had, but it was clearly an unnecessary mixup due to poor management or bad interfacing with Expedia.

The whole property is falling apart and dirty the grounds and parking

The veteran parking was nice. It was recently made a Quality Inn from a Raddisson it’s a huge property but needs some basic repairs to bathrooms and carpets. The tv remote didn’t work but I was only there for less than 12 hours to catch an early flight.

Hi! I travel for work. My coworker and I chose this hotel because of the location. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the breakfasts provided each morning was definitely a plus.

This has nothing to do with the renovation that is going on. They did not have the AC available, so the heater blew hot air on both the AC and heat settings. The only way to get cool air was to open the window, but without a screen, that left the room open to insects, etc. The Elevator worked intermittently. I had to carry my stuff to the second floor on the day I arrived and 2 days later when I left. Their continental breakfast consisted of mini muffins, toast, a waffle maker with premade batter, yogurt, and dry cereal. It looked like something you would find in a bus station terminal as opposed to something fresh and appealing. On the last day, when I looked at my shower, I noticed that there was a dirty towel draped over it. Obviously not checked when they cleaned. The floors are not carpeted and are very cold. The clock was not plugged in, and in order to plug it in, I couldn't plug in my phone charger. There were only outlets on the fixtures, not in the wall that were available for use. If you need a place at the last minute, then this would work, but I wouldn't choose this place in any other circumstance.
